Atomic Learning

AtomicLearning.com is one of the most useful short on-line learning tools for today's educators. In a world where technology changes in nanoseconds, its hard for anyone to be an expert on one thing, let alone on all things technology based. Atomic Learning provides short quick lessons, kind of like how-to guides, on software and hardware applications.

This website is a great time saver. It's online, available all of the time, and you only have to hear what you need to know! Sounds perfect. There are a few drawbacks though. Some more current programs aren't on there and some of the programs are limited in their instructions. There is not an option for questions or feedback. You also have to have an account. (My school does) However, if you just need a short tutorial on how to use a program or program feature without sitting through 3 hours of staff development, this is your site.

I would definitely recommend this site to any educator who uses technology. This site has  a usefulness to anyone who wants to know more about how to use software and technology. It is not educator specific! In an age where technology changes rapidly and time is short, this website provides an easy to use, quick, useful reference for online learning.
